Darier Hentsch & Cie

The eight-story brown and black building of private bankers Darier Hentsch & Cie is situated in the Geneva theatre district with most of the other private banks. It looks like it was built in the late 1960's and there's a giant two-story clock attached to the topside of the structure (showing the correct time).

Something different here, instead of the reception area being on the first floor it's on the top floor. The first visit ends in my being told they hadn't received my advance material so of course I leave more material. On the second visit I'm told Catherine Fouquet from corporate communications is busy. On my third visit (a Monday) I'm told there's no chance of meeting with Ms. Fouquet because she's "too busy all week".
Of course if you read my Lombard Odier & Cie story you'll see that on Tuesday (the day after my third attempt to meet with someone) Darier Hentsch & Cie announce plans to merge with Lombard Odier & Cie.
