Pralibel
Cycling seven miles east of Kortrijk brings me to the small village
of Vichte Anzegem. It's home to chocolate maker Pralibel, who's
chocolate is sold mostly in France under the Chateau Blanc name.
Pralibel's head office/factory is situated in a light industrial
park. Today is July 26, 2005 and my ride is for naught as I find
a note on the front door of the two-story factory/head office
saying they're closed July 10 to August 31. I mailed my introduction
material to Managing Director Paul Sulmon more than six weeks
earlier in mid-June. How difficult would it have been to send
an e-mail telling me they would be closed? Pralibel gets the
two thumbs down.
