Gstaad
Other ski resorts visited in Switzerland have more dramatic views
of the mountains than Gstaad but, this place scores high on the
pizzazz scale. Evidently there're strict building ordinances
here as all the stunning chalets seem to have the same look.
The attractive main shopping street
through town is car-free and
includes quite a few big name boutiques. Head a few blocks out
of town and it's beautiful farmland.
