Flims, Switzerland

Flims isn't too big a place nor is it too small. The valley is nice and wide which is great as I dislike feeling hemmed-in. Nothing special about the main shopping street. Big patches of farmland spread about the town stops willy-nilly growth.

Is this place hopping or is it dead in the summer?
Pretty busy place.

Is there a lake and/or golf course in town?
No.

Arriving by car the only option?
Frequent public bus service from Chur (20 minutes)

Does the place feel claustrophobic?
No.

Lots of choices for acccomodations (hotels/ chalets) and do I have recommendations?
Quite a few hotels to choose from. I spent a night at the five star Waldhaus Flims Mountain Resort & Spa and give it the two thumbs-up.

Could I spend a whole summer here or would I get bored?
Ten days would be the maximum.
