Though my mode of travel is via
bicycle, I don't camp but stay at hotels. Being on the road for
the past 20 years has given me the opportunity to experience
several thousand hotel/motels around the world. The accommodations
have run the gamut from windowless rooms lacking bathrooms to
luxurious suites with enough space for a soccer field. In this section you'll find listings of lodgings where I've physically spent a night. Included will be a photo of the property. Please bear in mind I'm not a professional photographer and don't have the luxury of spending hours or days waiting for the right weather conditions or lighting to garner the best shot. The idea behind this? Let's say you're going to Stockholm for the first time and don't know where to stay. Check out my recommendations. Easily the most expensive part of my travels has been the cost of lodging. I've been most fortunate and am extremely grateful to the multitude of hotels extending complimentary accommodations. |
