Hotel Eiger

How many four star hotels have you stayed at which feature a bicycle hanging outside the front entrance? Actually, cycling (more specifically mountain biking) is big business in Grindelwald and the Hotel Eiger has tapped into that market by offering week-long package deals. So, the Hotel Eiger occupies a prime location on Grindelwald's main commercial street (less than two blocks from the train station), offers good food in four different venues, has personable staff and, comfortable modern rooms offering great views of the mountains and valleys. What is there not to like about the place? Okay, so the hotel couldn't do anything about the rain showers that dampened my stay but, I definitely enjoyed myself here.
