Yep, that's
what these delicious Danish treats are called. It looks like
they take a macaroon cookie, flip it over and scoop out the bottom
of the cookie. The scooped-out bottom is filled with a chocolate
mousse-type filling so that it comes to a point like a pyramid.
The pyramid part is the covered with a chocolate coating and
topped with cherry flakes at the tip. How did this scrumptious
treat come to be named after a long gone stage actress? Well,
it seems during a Ms. Bernhardt performance one of her breasts
happen to pop out of her dress. Now do you see the resemblance?
There are quite a few variations on this with many bakeries substituting
the mousse filling with an inferior butter cream.
