Rotisserie chickens

These mobile roadside chicken stands are big business in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. I can't remember the number of times my bike and I pulled over for a quick feast. The price is right and the product is hot, juicy and tasty. More prevalent in southern Germany. These photos show an industrial-size chicken cooking outside a supermarket in Switzerland. Note the jackets the cookers have on--the same as what firemen wear!
