Gefullt Hanseaten

These mouth watering cookies were found in Hamburg. The ones on the left side of the tray contain a thin cookie covered in frosting. The ones on the right contain two thin cookies held together with marmalade jam with frosting on top. Many bakeries do these but the secret is making sure the bottom cookie is overbaked--giving it a crispy taste as opposed to a chewy taste.
